Flatland. A Romance of Many Dimensions is a satirical novel in which the author uses a two-dimensional fictional world to comment on the hierarchy of Victorian culture. However, the novel’s most enduring contribution is its examination of dimensions. Relevant science communicators have described this book as a starting point to reflect on the universe or humankind.
